This is a very clean .264 Winchester Magnum rifle produced in 1962. This stock has been refinished, and the entire rifle grades in NRA excellent condition.
The bluing grades at 95% and is in excellent condition with only light edge wear and some tiny blemishes to the bottom metal. A previous owner engraved his social security number inside the receiver, in the left rail area, see pictures. There is one small scratch on the barrel just in front of the rear sight.
The 26" barrel has almost no wear in the throat and no notable pitting. It easily grades at a 9 out of 10 upon borescope inspection. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver.
The refinished stock is gorgeous, in near-perfect condition. There are no cracks, gouges, stains, scuffs, or notable blemishes of any kind. The checkering is crisp and clean. The stock retains its factory-original hard rubber butt plate in very good condition.
