This is a clean Featherweight rifle chambered in .270 Win, produced in 1961.
This rifle grades in NRA very good condition with all original finishes. The bluing is 95% with some light edge wear. There is one notable rub on the left side of the sight ramp (about 0.5" diameter), but no other rubs, scratches, or other noteworthy issues. There are no gouges, scuffs, scratches or other noteworthy problems in the metal. The bore is bright with no noted pits, throat wear, or rifling loss. The prior owner included two recent targets with load data showing this is sub-MOA rifle. The factory stock finish is intact. There are minor handling marks on the stock, but no cracks and stains or other major problems. The checkering is sharp and has not been sanded. The original buttplate is intact. Barrel channel has been floated and the action is nicely bedded to the stock. The bolt is serial number matched to the rifle.
