This is a .270 Winchester Featherweight rifle produced in 1960. All parts are correct; the bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver.
The original bluing grades at 95% and the metal is in excellent condition. There is very little edge wear and no notable pits, scratches, dings or gouges on the steel parts. The aluminum bottom metal has some edge wear and fading.
The bore of the 22" barrel has only light wear in the throat and no pits. For these reasons, it rates an 8 out of 10 upon borescope inspection.
The stock has an original finish with some honest handling marks but without any notable dings, scratches, gouges, cracks, splits, or repairs. The checkering is clean and crisp, in excellent condition. The factory-original hard rubber buttplate has some shallow scratches and dings.
