This is a beautiful standard rifle chambered in .270 Winchester, produced in 1957. The rifle grades in NRA excellent condition.

The metal grades at 95% with all original bluing and only few light cosmetic scratches to the barrel and bottom metal.  The bore of the 24" barrel is exceptional, with strong rifling and almost no erosion whatsoever.  The only evidence of use is some slight copper fouling.  We grade this bore a 9/10 with the Boroscope.  The bolt is not serial number marked and so could have been replaced at some point but is correct in every regard for the rifle and we did confirm the bolt headspaces correctly to the chamber.

The elegant Monte Carlo style stock is likely a vintage refinish but closely resembles the factory finish and color.  It contains no gouges, cracks, or oil stains, showing only small handling marks from use, and some wear to the butt plate.  There is one very tiny chip at the tang (see photos) to give it character, but overall it's a beautiful piece.

NOTE: This rifle must be shipped to an FFL or C&R holder who can complete the transfer. If needed, we are happy to assist you in locating an FFL holder near you who receive and transfer the rifle to you.
