This is a .270 Winchester standard rifle produced in 1961. The receiver and bolt are both marked with serial number 544072. The rifle is in NRA excellent condition.
The original bluing on this rifle grades at 95%, showing almost no wear, the notable exceptions being the extractor, extractor ring, and receiver rails.
The bore has minor pitting and throat wear, reducing the rating to an 8 out of 10. Borescope verified.
The Monte Carlo stock has an original finish and no significant gouges, cracks, dents, or oil stains, with only a few tiny handling marks. The original checkering is particularly clean and crisp but does a ding in the left forearm panel. The hard rubber butt plate is in very good condition.
