This is a superb Featherweight rifle chambered in .270 Winchester, produced in 1955 and grading in NRA excellent condition.
The metal finishes are in excellent condition with minor wear on the bolt components. There is a small scratch in the finish on the receiver rear bridge and a couple of pin head sized marks in the aluminum floor plate. There are no gouges, dings, or scratches in the metal.
The bore is excellent with only minor throat wear and no pitting. We rate it as a 9 out of 10 under borescope examination.
The Monte Carlo stock retains its original finish which has just a few small handling marks. There are no splits, cracks or repairs. The aluminum butt plate some light wear and a few shallow scratches. The checkering is in very good condition.
