This is a beautiful .30-06 Featherweight rifle, produced in 1956. This collectible rifle is all original with no modification, grading in NRA excellent condition.
The original bluing grades at 95% and is in excellent condition with only light edge wear around the muzzle and tiny blemishes to the bottom metal. The bore of the 22" barrel shows no wear in the throat, though it does contain some pitting near the muzzle. For this reason it rates an 8 out of 10 upon borescope inspection. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver.
The stock has its original finish with no notable wear or flaking. The wood is gorgeous, in near-perfect condition. There are no cracks, gouges, stains, scuffs, or notable blemishes of any kind. The checkering is crisp and clean. The stock retains its factory-original aluminum butt plate in near perfect condition.
