This is a .30-06 Featherweight rifle produced in 1961. The rifle is in NRA very good condition.
The original bluing on this rifle grades at 95%, showing almost no wear, but the aluminum trigger guard is faded and the floorplate has worn spots.
The bore has no notable pitting but some wear in the throat reduces the rating to an 8 out of 10. Borescope verified.
The Monte Carlo stock has an original finish and no significant gouges, cracks, dents, or oil stains. It does have handling marks. The original checkering is particularly clean and crisp, but does have some dings in the left forearm panel. The hard rubber butt plate is in very good condition.
