This is a high condition .30-06 standard rifle made in 1961. The rifle is all original with factory finishes and no modifications. Overall condition for this rifle grades at NRA excellent.
The metal finishes are excellent throughout, with bluing grading at 99% no visible edge or handling wear. There are a few very slight scratches in the bluing and a rub on the bolt sleeve, but no noteworthy blemishes. The bottom metal is perfect. The action and bore are in excellent condition and grade as NRA excellent. The bolt is correct to the action, with serial number present and matched to the receiver. The stock and finish are excellent with no notable blemishes.
