This is a 308 Winchester Featherweight rifle produced in 1960. The rifle has original finishes, and the bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver. Both are marked with serial number 500579.
The bluing is in very good to excellent condition with some light wear on the bolt components. The bottom metal has some fading and a couple of small scratches. There are no other significant scratches, dings, freckling, or other defects.
The 22" barrel is in excellent condition with no throat wear but a couple small pits. We rate it as a 9 out of 10 upon borescope inspection.
The stock retains its original finish and is in very good condition with some handling marks but no significant cracks, gouges, or stains. The checkering is lightly worn and has a few small dings. The factory-original hard rubber buttplate is worn, with dings and scratches.
