This is a .358 Winchester Featherweight rifle built from parts on a 1958 receiver. Winchester produced only 2000 rifles chambered for the .358 Win. cartridge making this one of the more rare chamberings. The serial number on the bolt and receiver match. The rifle is in NRA very good condition.
The rifle has a low-comb stock and a red recoil pad. The stock was refinished by the Pre64Win team and the recoil pad is a freshly installed replica of the original Winchester pad.
The metal is in very good condition, with some light pitting and a few small scratches.
The bore of the 22" barrel is in excellent condition with almost no evident wear, pits, throat erosion, other issues.
