This .375 H&H Magnum standard rifle was produced in 1949. This rifle grades in NRA very good to excellent condition.
The metal grades at 95%. The bluing on the barrel is in excellent condition with almost no wear. The receiver has a faint impression in the bluing from a previously installed receiver sight. The rear receiver bridge has not been drilled and tapped for a scope.
The low comb stock rates in very good overall condition with a reproduction Winchester recoil pad. With the recoil pad the length of pull is 13&5/8". The stock has been refinished and there are a very few minor scratches and dings. The stock finish is intact and there are no cracks or stains. The checkering is crisp and clean, but has a couple of small flat spots.
The bore of the 25" medium contour barrel is excellent with no noted wear, erosion or pits. It grades a 9 out of 10 under borescope inspection.
All parts are correct and appear to be original to the rifle, with the exception of the recoil pad.
