This stock is originally from a Super Grade standard rifle produced between 1936 and 1948. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1936 and 1948, other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings. It has been professionally refinished in the pre64win shop.
This stock presents in excellent refinished condition with no cracks, splits, chips, gouges or structural repairs. The new finish is in perfect condition with no scratches, scuffs or handling wear. The original checkering remains clean and unblemished, though it has lost a bit of sharpness over time. The stock has not been bedded or modified, with the exception of having a reproduction Winchester recoil pad installed. The length of pull is short, at 13". There are a few dark spots which are likely oil stains.
