This stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between 1948 and 1950. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings.
This stock is in excellent condition with no splits, chips, gouges or other notable damage. There is a crack repair at the wrist, done by a previous owner, and a complete refinish. The new finish is professionally done and in excellent condition - smooth and even, not over-coated or shiny. The stock retains its original steel buttplate which has been reblued in the pre64win shop. The original checkering is in good condition with some flat spots. There is one cosmetic blemish, a small dent on the left side. Please see photos.
