This stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between 1948 and 1950. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings. It has previously been refinished.
This stock presents in excellent condition with no splits, chips, gouges, other damage, or significant cosmetic flaws. It wears a red Decelerator recoil pad which remains very soft and plaible. The finish is in excellent condition with only very minor surface scratches and tiny handling marks. While this refinish job was not done in our shop, it is very professional and well-done without any shininess or over-coating. The original checkering is in excellent condition, with some areas of minor flattening due to handling.
The length of pull on this rifle is slightly shorter than standard - it's just a bit over 13-1/4".
