This stock originates from a .300 H&H magnum rifle produced between 1950 and 1958. It will fit all .300 H&H rifles with a standard barrel contour that were produced between 1948 and 1963.
Structurally, this stock presents in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, gouges, deep scratches or other structural damage. It has been previously refinished, but not in the pre64win shop. This finish is a bit shinier than original and has a few cosmetic blemishes. There are a few light handling marks and scuffs, but no significant scratches, peeling or damage. The original steel buttplate appears to retain the factory bluing in good condition, with some light bluing wear and some spots of rust pitting. The checkering is clean and sharp and in very good condition. This stock has not been bedded, shortened, or otherwise modified, besides the refinishing.
