This stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between 1950 and 1958. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings.
This stock has been cut and fitted with a 3/4" Pachmayr vented recoil pad. The length of pull is shortened to 12 3/4".
The original factory finish is in good condition, with some cosmetic scratches and a few small areas where the finish has peeled. There was 1 crack which has been repaired here in the pre64win.com shop. Aside from that there are no deep scratches, dents, gouges, stains or other notable damage to this stock. The checkering is overall in very good condition, with just a few small flat spots.
