This low comb stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between 1950 and 1958. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings. It has been professionally refinished in the pre64win shop, including rebluing the butt plate.
This stock is in excellent condition with no structural issues, cracks, splits, gouges, or past repairs. The new finish is smooth and unblemished, without scratches, scuffs or handling marks. The original checkering remains in almost perfect condition, still clean and sharp. This stock has not been bedded, shortened, or modified in any way, aside from the new finish.
