This low-comb stock came from a standard rifle produced between 1950 and 1960. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963 other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings.
This stock is structurally sound with no cracks, chips, or past repairs. It has been refinished, and the new finish remains in very good condition with just a few light handling marks, scratches and tiny dings. There are no serious blemishes.
The stock has been cosmetically modified in the following ways:
- The top of the comb has been reshaped to a thinner point
- The checkering has been sanded off
- The stock tip has been cut flat
The factory buttplate has also been replaced with a vented Pachmayr recoil pad. The length of pull remains standard at 13-5/8".
