This Monte Carlo style stock is originally from a .300 H&H Magnum rifle produced between 1951 and 1961.  It will fit all .300 H&H Magnum rifles made between 1948 and 1963.

This stock is in excellent condition with no major cracks, chips, gouges or splits.  It has previously been bedded in the recoil lug area, and this bedding may need to be relieved slightly.  There is a tight crack between the trigger well and the magazine well which goes all the way through.  This is a common spot for cracks to form and does not harm the structural integrity of the stock.  The original Winchester factory recoil pad remains soft and pliable with very minor cracking around the edge.

The stock has been previously refinished (not in the pre64win shop) with a matte finish that has no gloss.  This finish remains in excellent condition with no major scratches, scuffs or handling marks.  The original checkering remains in very good condition with some flattening from handling.

The length of pull is standard, at 13-5/8".
