This Monte Carlo style stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between 1951 and 1961.  It will fit all standard rifles produced between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnums and .458 Magnum chamberings.

This stock is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, gouges, or past repairs.  It has been stained and refinished, though not in the pre64win shop.  The finish remains in excellent condition with no peeling, flaking, significant scratches or other handling marks.  The checkering is in very good condition with the exception of a few flat spots / dents.  The stain is quite dark in the checkering panels -- a common problem with applying stain to checkering.  Otherwise this is a very beautiful stock.  It is equipped with a White Line Pachmayr vented recoil pad.  The length of pull is slightly long, at 14".
