This stock is originally from a Featherweight rifle produced between 1952 and 1958. It will fit all Featherweight rifles.
This stock remains in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dings, deep scratches, or repairs to the wood. The checkering is mostly clean and crisp and in very good condition, with a few small handling marks.
The wood finish may be original but it's also possible that it has previously been refinished. There is some wear to the finish, especially around the butt stock. Otherwise there are just light scratches and scuffs, but no notable damage. The original aluminum butt plate has some finish loss, but no damage.
This stock was previously bedded to a rifle, but this bedding has been partly removed and it will fit any standard receiver. Going forward, this stock will likely need to be fitted to its next rifle.
