This stock is originally from a featherweight rifle produced between 1959 and 1961. It will fit all pre-64 Winchester Model 70 featherweight rifles.
This stock is structurally sound, with no cracks, chips, gouges or past repairs. It hasn't been shortened, bedded or otherwise modified. The factory finish has significant handling marks and cosmetic blemishes. There are scratches, scuffs and dings throughout the stock, and an area where the finish is bubbling and peeling near the grip. The checkering however remains in excellent condition, clean and still mostly sharp. This stock retains its original hard plastic buttplate in decent condition but with plenty of surface-level scratches and dings. It also has "Uncle Mikes" style studs. This would be an excellent stock to take out hunting in rough conditions, or a perfect candidate for refinishing.
