This stock is originally from a .300 H&H magnum rifle produced in 1962 or 1963. It will fit all .300 H&H rifles produced between 1948 and 1963 with a standard barrel contour.
This stock retains its original finish in beautiful condition. There appear to be a few tiny areas where the finish was touched-up (the spots are about the size of a pencil eraser). There are 2 other spots where it appears a drop of solvent may have damaged the finish. Otherwise, the stock is in pristine condition, with no cracks, chips, repairs, or other damage. It retains its original hard rubber buttplate, and has never been bedded. The checkering is original, clean and crisp.
