This stock is originally from a featherweight rifle produced in 1962 or 1963. It will fit all featherweight rifles produced between 1952 and 1963. It has been professionally refinished in the pre64win shop.
This stock presents in beautiful refinished condition with no cracks, chips, scratches, or past repairs. It has not been bedded or modified in any way, aside from the new finish. The wood is a particularly attractive and dark piece of walnut, and the finish has no scratches, rubs, handling marks, or other blemishes. The checkering is sharp, clean, and undamaged, and the checkering panels are small, indicative of a 1962-1963 manufacture date. The only imperfection on this stock is the fit of the butt plate, which has a slight gap. Please see last photo.
