This is a .22 Hornet standard rifle produced in 1951. The receiver and bolt are both marked with serial number 180755. Overall, the rifle is in excellent condition with mostly original finishes.

The low comb stock has an original finish and is in excellent condition with only a few light handling marks and no cracks, splits or other damage. The butt plate appears to have been reblued; there are some shallow pits and flats spots. The checkering is clean and crisp with a few small flat spots.

The bluing rates about 95%, with no significant edge wear or blemishes. There are a very few, very small spots of freckling, primarily on the bottom metal, but no significant dings or other defects in the metal.

With almost no throat wear and no pits we rate the bore a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
