This is a .220 Swift standard rifle presenting in all factory-original finishes and configurations. The rifle and bolt are serial number matched with number 415961, indicating a 1957 manufacture date.
The original metal finishes are in excellent condition - grading at 95%. The stainless steel barrel is virtually flawless, and the receiver and bolt handle have very little finish loss. There is one small scratch on the receiver, and some scuffs and edgewear on the steel buttplate. The floor plate is near perfect with no wear, and the trigger guard has just a few tiny scratches.
The barrel has been borescope inspected, revealing a virtually perfect bore. There's very little throat wear, no pitting, and no other defects. This bore rates a 9+ out of 10.
The Monte Carlo style stock retains its original finish in very good condition. There are a number of handling marks to the left side of the stock (opposite the bolt handle), which include some scuff marks and scratches to the finish. The checkering remains very clean and unblemished, and the original steel buttplate is in very good condition.
