This is a gorgeous .220 Swift target rifle produced in 1950. It presents in all factory-original configuration and finishes. It is a high-condition rifle grading in NRA excellent condition.
The original bluing on the rifle is in excellent condition - grading at 95% with very light edge wear and a few slight handling marks. The floorplate is near perfect with the tiniest light surface scratch close to one edge.
The bore of the 26" stainless barrel is in excellent condition, with very minimal signs of wear, and no pitting. We give it a 9 out of 10 rating with the borescope.
The stock retains its factory finish in excellent, approaching perfect condition, with just a few light handling marks and one small scuff/scratch that's deep enough to be felt with the hand. The stock has not been shortened, bedded or otherwise modified and retains its original steel buttplate.
All parts are original for the period and chambering. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver.
