This .220 Swift varmint rifle was produced in 1960. This is a high-condition rifle in original factory finishes and configuration. It grades in NRA excellent condition with no significant blemishes.
Other than the exceptions noted below, the condition is as follows: The stock retains its factory finish in near-perfect condition and the factory buttplate is intact. There are no cracks or stains in the wood and the checkering is crisp and unblemished. The original bluing is intact and perfect. This rifle is a rare find with the polish-blued finish on the iron-plated stainless barrel. The bore of the heavy varmint profile barrel is bright with strong rifling and no evident wear or other problems.
Condition exceptions:
There is a very small handling mark on the underside of the stock behind the front swivel.
There is a series of light scratches in the bluing on the underside of the barrel.
There is a small 1/4" scratch in the bluing on the right side of the barrel at the muzzle.
There are a few very small scratches on the floor plate
