This is a Featherweight barrel for a pre 64 Winchester model 70 rifle, chambered in .243 Winchester. This barrel is not stamped with a manufacture date and it uses the #7 ramp, indicating it was manufactured sometime between 1958 and the end of production in 1963.
Bluing and Metal - This bluing on this barrel is in very good condition; it's dark but with some wear from contact with the stock, and just forward of the stock, and at the muzzle. There are a few very small scratches but no deep gouges or dings.
Bore - 9/10 - The bore is in very good condition, with no throat wear, and just a few scattered pits. The crown is undamaged. Borescope verified.
