This is a 1961 Featherweight rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. The receiver and bolt are marked with matching serial numbers - 504294. This rifle has a few small cosmetic issues but a perfect bore.
The metal is in very good condition with an original factory finish. There are a few small scratches on the barrel, on the receiver, and on the bottom metal. There is some light finish wear on the receiver rails, at the muzzle, and on the bolt components. The bolt handle has some thinning and wear. There are marks on the receiver from scope bases.
The stock is original to the rifle with a Monte Carlo comb and a hard rubber buttplate. The stock has just a couple handling marks and the finish is excellent. There are no repairs, chips, cracks or other damage. The buttplate has some dings and scratches. The checking is in very good condition.
The bore of the 22" barrel has no throat wear or pitting, rating a 10 out of 10 under borescope examination.
