This is a .243 Winchester Standard rifle built in 1961. The receiver and jeweled bolt are both marked with serial number 542086. The rifle is in NRA excellent condition.
The Monte Carlo stock with its original finish has a very few light handling marks and no cracks, splits, repairs, or stains. The checkering is clean and crisp with no flat spots. The hard rubber butt plate is in very good condition.
The bluing is at 95%, with only minor wear, mostly on the edges and on the bolt components. The are a few very small scratches, but no other dings, repairs, or other metal damage. Overall, the metal is in excellent condition.
The bore of the 24" barrel is rated as an 8 out of 10, with only minor wear and heat cracking but no evident pits or other issues.
