This is a .257 Roberts standard barrel from a 1953 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing and Metal - The bluing on this barrel is near perfect; dark and even without notable wear. There are a very few, very small freckles, small enough they won't show well in the photos. The front sight ramp has some dings; these are shown in the photos. There are no deep dings or gouges.
Bore - The bore is in excellent condition. We can see it has been fired, but not enough to have throat wear. No pits. We rate it as a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
