This is a model 70 standard rifle chambered in .257 Roberts, produced in 1950 with a serial number of 146265 marked on the receiver and bolt. The rifle grades in NRA excellent condition and is truly a collector piece.
The low-comb stock is in excellent condition, with no significant cracks, gouges, or splits. There is very minor handling wear. The checkering is in excellent condition, as is the steel butt plate.
The bluing is in excellent condition with almost no wear. The are no notable dings, gouges, scratches, or other damage in the metal.
The bore of the 24" barrel has neither wear nor pitting; it's in nearly new condition. We grade it as a 10 out of 10. Borescope verified.
