This is a very clean .264 Winchester Magnum rifle produced in 1962. The rifle has all original finishes and grades in NRA excellent, near perfect, condition. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver; both are marked with serial number 554086.
The bluing grades at 98% and is in excellent condition with only very minor wear. There are no scratches, dings, repairs, or other defects in the metal.
The 26" barrel has throat wear but no pitting. The rifling is crisp and sharp. The bore grades at an 8 out of 10 upon borescope inspection.
The stock retains its original finish and is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, gouges, stains, scuffs, or notable blemishes of any kind. Under very close examination, two small dings are noticeable. The checkering is crisp and clean. The factory-original hard rubber butt plate in very good condition; it has a few minor scuffs.
