This is a .270 W.C.F standard barrel from a 1948 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing and Metal condition - Overall, this barrel is in very good condition. There are some scratches but no other significant marks of metal damage. The bluing is still dark and doesn't have the usual wear at the muzzle; it does have some wear from the rear sight.
Bore - 9/10 and almost a 10/10. We can tell this barrel had some rounds shot through it, but not very many. Near perfect condition. The rifling is still bright and smooth, the throat has no wear, and there is no pitting. Borescope verified.
