This .270 WCF standard rifle was produced in 1949. It is a high-condition rifle in original factory finishes and configuration. It grades in NRA excellent condition.
The original bluing is near perfect at 98% with just light edge wear and no abnormal rubs scratches or other blemishes. The bore of the 24" barrel is near perfect with no erosion, pits or notable wear. The stock retains its factory finish in very good condition. The factory steel buttplate is intact and is the only part on the rifle to show noteworthy bluing wear. There are no cracks in the wood and the checkering is crisp and unblemished. There are a few small handling marks overall, as shown in the photos, but all are very minor and there are no gouges or other real damage of the wood.
