This is a 1961 Featherweight rifle chambered in .270 Winchester. The receiver and bolt are marked with matching serial numbers - 541082.
The metal is in excellent condition with no notable dings, damage, or repairs. There are a few pinhead sized scratches in the finish. There is light wear on the receiver rails, extractor, and extractor ring.
The Monte Carlo stock retains its original finish and is in very good to excellent condition with just a few small handling marks. The stock has no modifications and retains its original factory hard rubber butt plate. There are no significant repairs, cracks, damage, dents, or staining.
The bore of the 22" barrel is in like-new condition. There are a few minor copper streaks in the bore, but no pits, not throat erosion/wear, and no others signs the rifle was fired. We rate this bore as a 10 out of 10 borescope examination.
