This is a .270 Win. standard barrel from a 1953 Model 70 rifle. This barrel was previously polished and reblued.
Bluing and Metal - At some point this barrel was polished and re-blued. The metal has a smoother, more polished apprearance than the factory finish, and the bluing is dark and even. There are a few small dings and scratches, and a few pin-head sized rust spots.
Bore - 8/10 - The bore has some throat wear and minor heat cracking, but no pitting. Borescope verified.
