This is a fine .270 Winchester standard rifle, produced in 1954, grading in NRA very good condition. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver.
The original bluing grades at 95% with very little wear anywhere; some on the edges, on the bolt handle, and on the floorplate.
The bore of the 24" barrel shows almost no wear in the throat and only a few small pits near the muzzle. For these reasons, it rates a 9 out of 10 upon borescope inspection.
The stock has its original finish with light honest wear; a few shallow dings and scratches. There are no deep gouges, cracks, splits, or repairs. The checkering is clean and in very good to excellent condition. The stock retains its factory-original steel buttplate with some wear and pitting.
