This is an impeccable standard rifle chambered in .270 Winchester, produced in 1957. The rifle grades in NRA excellent condition.
The metal grades at 97% with all original bluing and no notable blemishes or wear.
The monte carlo stock retains has been nicely restored with no damages, bedding or other modifications. Other than a few very minor handling marks in the stock, the only noted blemish on the entire rifle is some light rust on the heel of the buttplate (see photos)
The bore of the 24" barrel is excellent with no noted problems. It grades an 8 out of 10 under borescope inspection.
All parts are correct and appear to be original to the rifle. The bolt is serial number matched to the receiver.
