This is a superb Featherweight rifle chambered in .270 Winchester, produced in 1960. This is a high condition rifle grading in NRA excellent condition. The bolt and receiver are both marked with serial number 468498.
Metal finishes are 98%, with slight edge wear, notable fading of the floor plate, and very few light handling marks. There is one small nick on the right side of the barrel just below the rear sight and a small ding in the front sight hood.
The bore of the 22" barrel has some light throat wear and no pitting. We rate it as a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
The stock has been nicely restored by the Pre64 team with no noted blemishes or modifications and is in near perfect (refinished) condition. The checkering is in excellent condition with no notable damage. The hard rubber butt plate has some scratches and wear.
