This barrel started out as a 1942 standard .30-06 barrel and has been re-contoured and refinished. The bottom of the barrel retains the factory chamber designation, "1906", and production year marking, "42". All other factory markings are gone and the barrel has been marked ".30-06". The barrel measures 0.603" at the muzzle and is 23" long.
Metal and Finish - The barrel has been polished and reblued. The bluing is dark and even with very little wear. There are a very few, very small scratches in the finish but no deep scratches in the metal or other metal damage.
Bore - 8/10 - The bore has no throat wear but some pitting. Borescope verified.
