This is a Winchester pre-64 model 70 Featherweight barrel chambered in .30-06. It has the #6 front sight ramp indicating it was manufactured from 1955 to 1957.
Bluing and Metal - The bluing is dark and even, with minor wear at the muzzle and almost nowhere else. We rate the bluing at 95%. There a few shallow scratches, just above the logo and beside the front sight ramp.
Bore - The barrel has almost no throat wear but a few minor pits and wear at the muzzle. Because of this, it rates a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
