This is a very clean Featherweight rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, produced in 1959.
This rifle grades in NRA very good to excellent condition. The bluing is better than 98% with the only wear being very slight at the edge of the muzzle, and on the edges of the floor plate. There are no gouges, scuffs, pits, scratches or other noteworthy problems in the metal. The stock bears a nice vintage refinish in a slightly darker than factory color. It has almost no handling marks, no cracks and no gouges in the stock. The checkering is sharp and has not been sanded. The stock has been professionally bedded at the recoil lug and there are no other evident modifications. The bolt is serial number matched to the rifle.
