This is a Winchester model 70 Featherweight rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The receiver and bolt are both marked with serial number 572405, indicating a 1963 manufacture date. This rifle grades in NRA excellent condition.
The stock has its original finish with a few handling marks and a couple of shallow dings near the front sling swivel. The checkering on this rifle is in excellent condition with almost no wear, as is the original hard rubber buttplate.
The blued finishes are in excellent condition with almost no wear. The aluminum bottom metal has a couple of light scratches and a little fading. All parts appear to be original and correct for the rifle.
The bore is in excellent condition with no notable throat wear and just a few shallow pits near the muzzle. We rate it as a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
