This is a Winchester model 70 Featherweight rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The receiver and bolt are both marked with serial number 509069, indicating a 1961 manufacture date. This rifle grades in NRA very good condition.
The stock has its original finish with very few handling marks. The checkering is generally clean but it does have a few small dings. The original hard rubber buttplate has some shallow scratches and some staining.
The blued finishes are in very good condition with only minor wear. The aluminum bottom metal has some fading, edge wear, and light scratches in the finish. All parts appear to be original. There are no notable dings or scratches in the metal.
The bore has some wear in the throat and a few pits. We rate it as a 7 out of 10. Borescope verified.
