This is an excellent condition 1955 Featherweight rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The receiver and bolt are marked with matching serial numbers - 344758.
The original factory bluing is in excellent condition rating at 95% with no notable blemishes and very little wear. The barrel has a few very light surface scratches and slight muzzle wear. The bolt handle shows some thinning, and a few of the bolt components and the receiver rails have light wear. The aluminum bottom metal has a few tiny scratches but overall remains excellent.
The stock has been professionally refinished in the pre64win shop, and equipped with a reproduction Winchester recoil pad. It presents in like-new condition, with no scratches, scuffs, dings, cracks or repairs. The checking remains in excellent condition - sharp and crisp with no notable blemishes or wear.
The bore of the 22" barrel is in excellent condition with almost no signs of use. We rate it a 9+ out of 10 under borescope examination.
