This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1952 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 85% - The bluing on this barrel shows some signs of wear. The finish has faded in some spots, resulting in a somewhat mottled appearance, and there are a few small spots of concentrated wear throughout the barrel.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good condition. There are numerous light scratches in different spots along the barrel, but no significant nicks or other forms of metal damage.
Bore - 8/10 - The bore shows only very minor signs of wear. The rifling is bright and smooth, and there are no significant scratches or spots of pitting throughout the bore. Borescope verified.
