This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1952 Model 70 rifle. It appears to have been previously polished and reblued.
Bluing and Metal - This barrel appears to have been previously polished and then reblued. There are a few smaller dings, mostly near the muzzle, that have been blued-over. Additionally, there are a few newer small scratches in the new finish. The bluing is dark.
Bore - 8/10 - The bore has almost no throat wear but a few shallow pits resulting in a rating of 8 out of 10. Borescope verified.
